Chatham Water Treatment Plant; Capacity: 13.8 MLD Flow

The Chatham Water Treatment Plant is a combination aquifer and surface water treatment plant. The raw water is characterized by high turbidity, color and appreciable amount of iron contact. UEM scope of work in the refurbishment of Chatham WTP included:

The Chatham WTP was commissioned in December 1999 and has been operating satisfactorily since, producing treated water within the required specifications. Additionally, hard wire relay logic controls have been provided for a semi-automatic plant operation.
