Brackish Water RO & DM Plants

UEM has designed and installed a large brackish water RO and DM Plant for the National Oil Refinery in the Gulf region. This river surface water treatment plant is designed to treat 3,500 ppm TDS and 300 ppm TSS and is a fully automatic desalination plant consisting of pre-treatment steps, an RO system, and mixed bed de-ionisation systems. The plant has been operating successfully since start-up by UEM. UEM has installed a number of similar UF / RO Systems for brackish water and seawater.

Containerized RO Systems

UEM also offers Containerized RO Systems for brackish water and seawater. Three such containerized RO plants were designed, fabricated and supplied to a client in Jordan for delivering 500 M3/day (each) permeate using river surface water with 2,500 ppm TDS as the feed source. These plants are fully automatic with PLC based controls and consist of a pre-treatment and a RO system. All these plants have produced satisfactory results since their installation. These containerized RO systems can be made as per client's specific requirements in different sizes.
