Compact Package Treatment Plants

UEM has installed more than 45 Compact Package Treatment Plants for treatment of domestic sewage, industrial effluent, and raw water for hotels, resorts, hospitals, residential complexes, shopping malls, office buildings, industries, and labor colonies, among others. These package plants can be factory fabricated (Skid Mounted) or site fabricated and constructed of steel with suitable anticorrosion protection and can be supplied in a very short time frame. They require minimal floor area and can be installed above ground or below ground (even in basements) in either a covered or an open top configuration. There is no potential for odor from these treatment plants. The treated water can be used for watering the green belt area after aerobic activated sludge treatment or even for reuse as cooling tower water or flushing water after suitable tertiary treatment using pressure filters, activated carbon filters, etc. thus offering benefits of substantial reduction in fresh raw water requirements.

Reverse osmosis and other types of membrane treatment for potable water and industrial applications is one of UEM's areas of expertise. Applications of these membrane systems include brackish water desalting, membrane softening, seawater desalting, and ultra-filtration.

UEM has complete capabilities in the engineering, design, manufacturing, supply, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems with capacities from 5 M3 per day to over 50,000 M3 per day.
